About the World Clock

The World Clock displays live local times across 20 major international cities, covering every populated continent. Clocks update every second directly in your browser, using the standard IANA time zone database via the browser's built-in Intl API — no server calls or external libraries required.

Daylight Saving Time transitions are handled automatically. Cities like London, New York, and Sydney switch their UTC offsets seasonally; the Intl API tracks these transitions for all zones, ensuring accuracy throughout the year.

The tool is especially useful for remote workers and global teams who need to quickly see if a colleague in Tokyo, Berlin, or São Paulo is in their working hours. The AM/PM badge provides instant visual feedback without needing to parse the time digits.

All 20 cities cover the most common business and travel destinations: North American time zones (ET, CT, MT, PT), European hubs (London, Paris, Berlin, Moscow), Asian financial centres (Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, Tokyo), and Pacific / Southern Hemisphere cities (Sydney, Auckland).

You may also find our Time Zone Converter, Meeting Time Planner, and Alarm Clock helpful.
