How to Use
- 1. Upload the photo you want to edit.
- 2. Pick a preset for a quick look, or skip straight to the sliders.
- 3. Fine-tune brightness, contrast, saturation, and the rest.
- 4. Download the filtered image at full resolution.
What the Adjustments Actually Do
Brightness shifts every pixel toward white or black uniformly, while contrast pushes light and dark pixels further apart — which is why raising contrast can make a photo look sharper without touching any detail.
Saturation controls colour intensity: zero gives you greyscale, and pushing past 100% deepens colours until they clip. Hue rotate spins every colour around the colour wheel, which is the quickest route to a deliberately unnatural look.
The presets here are just saved slider combinations. "Noir" is greyscale with heavy contrast and slightly reduced brightness; "Fade" lowers contrast and saturation while lifting brightness to mimic aged film. Starting from a preset and adjusting from there is usually faster than building a look from scratch.
Everything is non-destructive — the original image stays in memory and is re-filtered on each change, so Reset always returns you to exactly what you uploaded.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does editing reduce the image quality?
The filter is applied to the image at its original resolution and exported as a PNG, which is lossless. If your source was a heavily compressed JPEG, the existing compression artefacts remain — filtering cannot remove them.
What is the difference between the presets and the sliders?
A preset is simply a saved combination of slider values. Pick one as a starting point, then fine-tune any slider — the preset label clears once you deviate from it.
Why does the download take a moment on large photos?
The export re-renders the filter across every pixel at full resolution. A 24-megapixel photo is a lot of pixels, so there is a brief pause before the file is ready.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The image is drawn onto an HTML canvas in your browser and the filtered result is produced locally. Nothing is sent to a server.
Can I undo a change?
Every adjustment is non-destructive — the original image is kept in memory and re-filtered each time. Reset restores the defaults instantly without reloading your file.
