About Image Watermark

A watermark identifies you as the source of an image and discourages unauthorized use — common for photographers, designers, and businesses sharing images online.

Use a low opacity (20–40%) for a subtle watermark that doesn't distract from the image, or a higher opacity for a bolder, harder-to-remove mark. Corner positions are least intrusive; center placement is hardest to crop out.

Everything happens locally in your browser using the HTML canvas — your image is never uploaded.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of watermark can I add?

Text (like a copyright notice or brand name) or an image/logo you upload. Both support adjustable opacity and position.

Where does the watermark get placed?

Choose any of the 9 standard positions — corners, edge centers, or dead center — using the position grid.

Will this reduce my image quality?

No. The base image is drawn at its original resolution; only the watermark is composited on top.

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens locally in your browser using the HTML canvas — your image and logo never leave your device.
