About Favicons
A favicon is the small icon shown in a browser tab, bookmarks, and history. Modern sites actually need several sizes: small ones for the browser tab, a 180×180 version for iOS "Add to Home Screen," and 192×192 / 512×512 versions for Android and installable web apps (PWAs).
This tool generates all of them from a single image — cropping to a square first if needed — and packages them with a ready-to-use site.webmanifest and the exact HTML tags to reference every file.
Everything runs locally in your browser. Your image is never uploaded to a server.

What sizes are generated?
16×16, 32×32, and 48×48 for the browser tab, 180×180 for iOS home screen icons, and 192×192 / 512×512 for Android and PWA use.
What if my image isn't square?
It is automatically center-cropped to a square before resizing, so no part of your logo gets stretched or squished.
How do I use the downloaded files?
Unzip them into the root of your website, then paste the provided HTML snippet into your page's <head>.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
