About This Tool
PDF files often contain pages that should not be in the final version — a blank page at the end of a scan, a duplicate cover sheet created during a merge, a confidential appendix that needs to be stripped before sharing, or introductory boilerplate that is irrelevant to the recipient. UseToolify's Remove PDF Pages tool makes fixing these problems fast and visual, without requiring any desktop software.
After uploading your file, every page is rendered as a thumbnail directly in the browser using PDF.js, Mozilla's open-source rendering engine. You can immediately see the content of every page without opening a separate viewer. Click the trash icon on any thumbnail to mark that page for deletion — a red overlay and ring make it obvious which pages are queued for removal. Click again to unmark if you change your mind.
The Select All and Clear Selection buttons let you quickly toggle the entire document. This is handy when you want to keep only a few pages: select all, then unmark the ones you want to keep. The output page counter updates in real time so you always know how many pages will be in the final file before you click download.
When you click Make PDF, the tool uses pdf-lib to construct a new document containing only the unmarked pages. All fonts, images, and metadata within those pages are preserved exactly. You can also rename the output file before downloading using the filename field. Need to reorder pages after trimming? Head to our companion Rearrange PDF Pages tool.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does my PDF get uploaded to any server?
No. Everything runs in your browser using pdf-lib. Your file never leaves your device.
Can I remove multiple pages at once?
Yes — click the trash icon on as many pages as you like before clicking "Make PDF".
Can I undo a page deletion before downloading?
Yes — click the trash icon again on any marked page to unmark it before generating the output.
Is there a limit on PDF file size or page count?
There is no server-imposed limit. Very large PDFs may take a moment to render thumbnails, but they will process successfully.
Will the remaining pages lose quality?
No. pdf-lib copies pages without re-encoding, so text, images, and fonts are preserved exactly as in the original.
